Join Autism Speaks as the Manager, Peer to Peer Programs! This position is responsible for executing the strategic plan for peer-to-peer programs including school initiatives and the newly created Summit Challenge. The Manager, Peer-to-Peer Programs, will drive daily operations of assigned peer-to-peer programs while providing support, resources, and training to the field staff. Individual will work from home and can be located anywhere in the United States, in close proximity to an airport.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Support the National Director to operationalize and execute a year-round strategic plan for the Autism Speaks Peer-to-Peer Program.
  • Serve as strategy lead for all fundraising operations for the Summit Challenge program and peer-to-peer school activations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in all aspects of assigned programs, including partnering with IT, marketing & communications, digital, and data support.
  • Create and conduct the staff training programs for the Summit Challenge and school initiatives
  • Alongside the National Director, work directly with the event production vendor for the Summit Challenge and partner with Area staff for execution.
  • Manage the fundraising app operations for assigned programs, working directly with the vendor, creating promotional materials, deploying benefits  and activity tracking, and training field staff.
  • Implement and manage the incentive program for assigned peer-to-peer programs, including sourcing and vendor management.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Field Operations to deploy the centralized-support strategy and identify tools and processes that will enhance the Field’s fundraising activities.
  • Manage all vanity email inboxes and provide best-in-class customer service.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
 Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • 5+ years demonstrated success in peer-to-peer fundraising position.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledgeable of fundraising systems and software, Blackbaud Luminate preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), as well as strong presentation skills  
  • Excellent project-management skills  
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills  
  • Critical thinking skills to identify issues, concerns and problems and development of implementable solutions  
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (intermediate level)  
  • Database skillset (StratusLive preferred)  
  • Demonstrated leadership skills  
  • Ability to diplomatically engage with a variety of personalities in a positive manner. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with little daily supervision 
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessary

Salary & Benefits:
Autism Speaks offers a competitive compensation, benefit and vacation package. We also provide flex work hours, weekly training sessions, tuition reimbursement and summer bonus Fridays in addition to a creative, innovative, collaborative, inclusive, kind and fun work environment.

Salary range is $60,700 -$75,900, depending on candidate’s geographic location and relevant years of experience.
